Video: In 1974 the socialist government of Allende was overthrown by a military junta. The military dictatorship of Pinochet that followed led to repression and terror. But it also led to an economic transformation. A sever free enterprise was legislated. The consequence has been a growing and dynamic economy. The dictatorship is gone. Out of evil came a surprising good.
