Video: The Christian fundamentalists have achieved great political power in the last five years. They can even include the President among their number. One of their major goals is to change the way biology is taught in our public schools and universities. The enemy is Darwinian evolution, one of the cornerstones of biological science. The first assault of Creationism has been less than successful. The new more sophisticated assault of Intelligent Design is proving to be more effective and fills scientists with fear about the future of biological education and research in America.
