Video: The reputation of the Swiss is no longer what it used to be. The accusation of the American government that the Swiss authorities actively cooperated with the Nazis to support the German war machine and that the assets of Holocaust victims were deliberately denied to their surviving heirs is an embarrassing charge. The image of Switzerland is at stake. Are the Swiss a peace loving, democratic and tolerant people who hate violence so much that they have chosen to remain permanently neutral? Or are the Swiss an opportunistic people, with strong racist and isolationist tendencies who live off the bank deposits of criminals and dictators?
