Video: With the Republican Party in disarray and with the president’s approval ratings plummeting, the Democratic Party should be growing – especially since the Congressional elections are a hop, skip and Jump away. But the Democratic Party is also in disarray. It has no charismatic leader. It has articulated no clear alternative policy to the platform of the Republicans. The war against terrorism has rendered them timid, afraid to appear unpatriotic. And the campaign for ‘values’ which gave a second victory to Bush has left them bewildered – What do they need to do?
