Brazil: New Star of South America

Video: Once viewed as a poor and undeveloped nation, Brazil is emerging as the richest and most powerful country in Latin America. While Argentina declines, Brazil is cultivating agricultural and industrial might. The challenges to growth are many – persistent poverty, racism, the gulf between rich and poor. Will Brazil be able to find solutions to its problems and to become a great power? Many experts say yes.
