IRAN AND THE MULLAHS: Political and Nuclear Power

Video: The turmoil in Iraq has dramatized the growing danger of Iran next door. Over the last 25 years it has remained an implacable enemy of the United States. In recent years, hope for a change was reinforced by the rising anger of young Persians against the repressive government of the mullahs and their failed economy. But the war in Iraq has restored the power of the conservatives. Iran is now aggressively pursuing the development of nuclear weapons. The Western world is frightened.
