Rebellion in Lebanon: Confrontation with Syria

Video: The assassination of the former Lebanese prime minister Hariri triggered a massive demonstration against the Syrian occupiers who were accused of planning the outrage. As in the Ukraine, thousands of citizens demanded that the Syrians leave Lebanon. The rally was unique. Christians, Druse, and Sunni Muslims, former enemies, united to oppose the Syrians. Is this rally a democratic turning point in the Arab world? Will it create a friendlier enviornment for peace in the Middle East?
